We believe in shaping the future of affordable housing through collaboration and community empowerment. Recently, from September 9-12, we hosted a series of multi-day design charrettes at both the Robert T. Wolfe development and the El Centro Youth Enrichment Program. These sessions provided a space where residents’ insights, dreams, and priorities could directly influence the Union Square transformation. The charrettes were vibrant with dialogue, hands-on planning, and shared ideas, bringing together residents, architects, and community leaders to co-design a more sustainable and inclusive Union Square.
This resident-driven approach ensures that the voices of those who live and thrive in this community lead the way in creating affordable housing that truly feels like home. We’re grateful to everyone who contributed their perspectives and passion, making Union Square a place shaped by the community, for the community.
